    RESERVATION

    By making a reservation on our site for our restaurant, you are automatically agreeing to our reservation information and terms. You are also automatically agreeing to a possible 10% service charge.

    Dress code (upstairs bookings): Strictly no tracksuits, flip flops, shorts, trainers or any type of hat. We ask that all men wear a collar. Melin has a smart dress code upstairs. Management has the right to refuse entry, please bare this in mind when booking.

     

    No hoodies or hats are to be worn inside the restaurant.

     

    Please note: Upstairs bookings are for ages 18+. If on arrival one of the guests in your party is under the age of 18, you will be seated downstairs. Please ensure to bring a physical form of identification.

    We take card details to secure all reservations; there is no charge made to the card in advance. This is a pre-authorised payment. You will only be charged if you do not arrive at your reservation.

     

    Please note, bookings will incur a 10% service charge on their bill upon visiting.

     

    We cannot guarantee your booking will be upstairs.

     

    A pre-authorised payment of £10pp is required. Deposit amounts for reservations may vary dependant on date and events. Other deposits may vary depending on date and occasion (i.e Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day, Valentine’s Day).

     

    This will be automatically charged if you do not arrive to your reservation. If your full party show up to your reservation, no payment will be taken. If some of your party do not arrive to your reservation, you will be charged for the number of people/guests that do not arrive. To avoid this, please give 48 hours’ notice to change or update your reservation and number of guests.

     

    Occasions, such as Christmas Day and New Years Eve, we will ask for the full amount on the time of the booking (Christmas Day: £39.95 per person, New Years Eve: £75 per person). This means that you and your party will only have to pay for drinks and extras ordered on the night.

     

    Please note if you do not receive a confirmation email, your reservation has not been processed correctly and you will need to make another booking.

     

    If your chosen reservation time slot is not available, this is because we are fully booked for reservations for that time so please select another time.

     

    For large bookings and parties, please fill out the booking form to make an enquiry or contact us by email or phone.

    CANCELLATIONS

    Please email us on info@melinrestaurant.co.uk or call 01279410904 no less than 48 hours before your reservation time if you wish to cancel your table.

     

    If you do not cancel with at least 48 hours’ notice, or at all. You will be charged the full pre-authorised payment.

     

    For Christmas Day and New Years Eve bookings, we ask for no less than 7 days’ notice.

    If you do not cancel with at least 7 days’ notice or at all, you will be charged the full amount paid (Christmas Day £39.95 per person, New Year’s Eve £75 per person)
